Terms and Conditions

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The following terms and conditions govern all use by you as a Filmmaker, Screenwriter, or other non-festival participant (“User”) of (a) Shortfundly Festival websites and domains (including all subdomains, collectively, the “Site”), (b) services available on or through the Site in connection with festivals, events, and contests, and (c) related software and applications (the “Services”).

By using or accessing any part of the Services, you agree to all terms contained herein and all other operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published from time to time on the Site by Shortfundly. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. MODIFICATION OF TERMS

Shortfundly reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this TOS at any time. It is your responsibility to check these terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

3. DESCRIPTION OF SHORTFUNDFLY FESTIVAL PLATFORM

Shortfundly provides a platform for film festivals, events, and contests (“Festivals”) to collect submissions, manage payments, and sell tickets. Payments are processed via third-party payment providers such as Razorpay, PayPal, or other authorized gateways (“Facilitated Payment Modes” or “FPM”).

4. YOUR USE OF SERVICES

• You may use the Services solely for browsing, submitting to, purchasing from, and interacting with Festivals listed on the platform.
• You must not engage in reverse engineering, distribution, resale, or fraudulent activities on the platform.
• Unauthorized or unlawful use of the Services may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

Payments between Filmmakers and Festivals are processed through FPMs or Shortfundly’s integrated gateway.

• Refunds are the responsibility of the respective Festival. Users must contact the Festival directly for disputes or refunds.
• Optional “Submission Protection” or “Ticket Protection” may be offered at checkout. These services are subject to specific conditions and are non-refundable.

6. ACCOUNT, PASSWORD & SECURITY

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. Notify Shortfundly immediately of unauthorized access or security breaches.

7. CONTENT

You retain ownership of your creative work submitted through the platform. By submitting, you grant Shortfundly a limited license to use and display your work solely for the purpose of enabling Festival submissions.

Shortfundly may remove or restrict any content at its discretion if it violates these terms or applicable laws.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Shortfundly is not responsible for the actions or omissions of Festivals, Filmmakers, or third-party service providers. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
